BOO! and Lu Halloween 2026

It’s October! Pumpkins, ghosts, candy, and costumes are entering our minds and with those come our annual Halloween post!

We love sewing for Halloween here at Boo and Lu. There is something really special about being able to take a child’s (or your own!) dream idea and turn it into reality with some fabric and a sewing machine. Whether we are sewing costumes or casual looks, DIY Halloween sewing is a favorite tradition. Let’s take a look at what some of our team created this season!

Costumes

Costumes are so fun to create. Part of the process is looking at the shapes and silhouettes of the final desired look and seeing what patterns you can use to get the same look! Here are some awesome examples of using Boo and Lu patterns to create a costume.
