Pinspiration with Boo and Lu
One of the best things about sewing is seeing something at a store, or online, or on Pinterest, and thinking, “I can make that!” With so many amazing Boo and Lu patterns to choose from, you can see a retail item and try to sew your own version of it yourself! A few of the amazing women on the B&L admin team did just that, and today we are showing you “Pinspiration With Boo and Lu”- outfits inspired by something we saw, and made using Boo and Lu patterns.
Eyelet Trimmed Tee
Inspired by a tee from Target, Jackie made this cute top using the Tamarack pattern. She shortened the sleeves and added eyelet trim.
White Bodysuit and Jeans Outfit
Inspired by an outfit from Pinterest, Megan made a long sleeve white leotard using the Lilac pattern. She paired it with jeans, cute shoes, and a hat to complete this look!
Pink Plaid Raglan
Inspired by a pink plaid top from Pinterest, Megan made her own version using the Tamarack pattern.
Rainbow Dress
Inspired by a dress from Hanna Andersson, Jessie made this dress using the Timber Wolf pattern. The rainbow colors were cut into strips, then sewn together to create a rectangle piece that the skirt could then be made from. The neck was done using binding instead of a band.
Shorts and Tee Set
Inspired by an outfit from H&M, Jessie made pink shorts and a white tee. To mix things up a little, Jessie cuffed the shirt sleeves, rather than the shorts. The shorts were made using the Dandelion pattern, and the tee was made using the Timber Wolf pattern.
